Enjoy hurling tomatoes at your fellow Tri-Valleyites? Pleasanton is hosting a battle of epic proportions that will make it rain ketchup. With today's deal, $25 gets you one ticket ($50 Value) or $45 for two tickets ($100 Value) to the NorCal Tomato Battle held on Saturday, September 29th at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds. Entry includes live music and tomato fighting. Kids under the age of 14 are not permitted at the event.

The festivities kick off at noon with live music and a beer garden at the Bay Area's largest fairgrounds. Join thousands of tomato-chucking enthusiasts along with 300,000 pounds of tomatoes in the battle that rivals Spain's La Tomatina tomato-throwing festival beginning at 4pm, with more music and plenty of beer to follow.

All of the tomatos used in the Tomato Battle have been previously marked for disposal, which makes this epic food fight a fun and resourceful use of non-edible waste. The Fine Print
